MASTER OF ARTS IN ENGLISH FOR PROFESSIONAL COMMUNICATION
The Master of Arts degree in English for Professional Communication has its main goal “to arrange and facilitate learning experiences that enable the learners to acquire multiple language skills to survive in the fast-changing world situations. These skills are described as follows: (1) adequate English language proficiency, both both written and spoken to effectively communicate under a variety of professional contexts and at different levels of social status, (2) sound interpersonal and intercultural communication skills to adapt to variations of communication styles and appreciate the cultures of the speakers of other languages, (3) competence to realign one’s knowledge with the dynamism of employment opportunities and requirements, and (4) constructively critical mindset in consuming information from a plethora of media sources .
The program offers the class activities during the weekends. Students must complete their education within two to five years beginning the first semester of enrollment.
